Wayfinder

Inspire students to live with purpose and belonging.

Wayfinder’s core wellbeing programs have been incubated through the design thinking process at Stanford University’s d.school in the K-12 lab and aim to support the social emotional development for all students.

  • Foundations (Foundation to Year 6) guides students to develop self awareness, high self esteem, emotional regulation and healthy relationship skills.
  • Belonging (Years 7-9) guides students to build compassionate, meaningful relationships with themselves, other people, and the wider world.
  • Purpose (Years 10-12) guides students to explore who they are and what matters to them so they can purposefully navigate their life ahead.

The programs are inspired by cutting-edge academic research and draw on practices of traditional wayfinding navigation as a metaphor for stepping into life with purpose.

The Wayfinder core program supports the whole school and combines social emotional learning, project-based learning and real-world events to prepare students for life.
